I WAS ACCEPTED INTO 2nd WEEKEND JAZZ FEST!

For fine craft artists like myself, "the highly competitive Contemporary Crafts Fair..." of our New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival is the epitome of validation. Jazz Fest "...presents works by some of Louisiana's and the nation's most talented artisans..." I can't wait to see y'all the Second Weekend - May 2nd - May 5th. Boom.

BOOM!

This was my FIFTH year applying - last year was a dream come true. I got in!

This year though - I was waitlisted. 

But low and behold - all those prayers and lighted candles, lucky pennies and unspilled beers -

I got a call Tuesday night from the BOSS and was told a spot had opened up.

Would I be available? GURL??!!

I'm on studio lock-down for the week and cranking out new pieces until my fingers fall off.
