Katy Beh's Insider Guide to New Orleans Jewelers

New Orleans is rich with talented jewelry designers. We all believe in the tradition of jewelry to express your style, celebrate a birthday or simply feel pretty.

As the saying goes – it takes a village – and the New Orleans jewelry designer community is as close as white on rice.

I curated this collection of NOLA designers, artisans and retailers complete with links to each of their websites.

Thank you for supporting our creative community by shopping small and locally.

Here’s how I became a part of this special group...

Although I studied Jewelry Design at Rhode Island School of Design, I started my career at a designer’s desk instead of a workbench.

I worked for renowned artists Reinstein/Ross and Mignon Faget, to name a few. At RHINO (Right Here In New Orleans) Artists Cooperative, I enriched my network of local jewelry artists. After working for Thomas Mann Designs In 1998, I opened my own gallery representing hundreds jewelry designers. I owned Katy Beh Contemporary Jewelry on New Orleans’ infamous Magazine Street.

But after 13 years of building relationships with my artists

...what I really cherished was the relationships I built with YOU.

My urge to create my own collection came to full bloom in 2011.

I launched Katy Beh Jewelry in 2011 to give women with laissez les bons temps rouler fine jewelry they'll want to wear day after day. Don't worry if your Cajun French is rusty, it just means "let the good times roll" (pronounced "Lay-say le bon tom roo-lay").

Jewelry that really means something to you, becomes a part of you.

That was the reason I started making jewelry in the first place

...to create something just for you, something that you’ll only enhance with the memories you create.
